Our Head Chef Scott Leadley and his passionate kitchen brigade are serious about great tasting food and work with seasonal Scottish ingredients that have been sourced from local producers, growers, fishermen and farmers to create memorable meals.
The menu changes to reflect each season, which means there are always new tasty delights to discover. We pride ourselves on serving uncomplicated dishes, which are great value for money, where the true taste and quality of the ingredients shine through. Our warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and generous portions make us the venue of choice in Gullane.
We’re open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With the stunning Gullane coastline right on our doorstep, naturally our menus showcase the freshest, most sustainably sourced seafood. Alongside this, there are of course the hearty country classics like beautifully cooked fish and chips, rustic soups with freshly baked sourdough, pates and terrines and a selection of daily specials too. On Sundays, the star of the show is always our signature roast, and afternoon tea is available every day, subject to availability. As everything is cooked from scratch special dietary requirements aren’t a problem and we’re happy to make any of our dishes in a child friendly size. We use classic techniques to create food that is all about flavour and we believe we offer something for every taste and occasion.
You can choose to eat in our restaurant, or if you’re looking for something slightly more informal, you can also eat in our bar beside the wood-burning fire or if the sun is out, take advantage of it and enjoy your meal in our beer garden.
