East Lothian is one of the finest regions for golf in Scotland, with an excellent choice of courses for golfers of all abilities. Much of the coast is a wetland habitat for wildfowl and waders and has been designated as part of the Firth of Forth Site of Special Scientific Interest, Special Protection Area and Ramsar Site.

In nearby North Berwick you can find an attractive and well preserved High Street with independent retailers offering ladies fashion, homeware, gifts as well as cafes, delicatessens and restaurants.
The Royal Burgh market town of Haddington also has a range of shops and cafes and hosts a farmers market on the last Saturday of every month from 9am – 1pm.
