There are endless activities and day-trip destinations right on our doorstep, as well – the Motor Museum or the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune, which is the perfect place for history enthusiasts to delve deep into the world of aviation, offers the opportunity to explore the interior of Concorde, while also providing an interactive and exciting experience for children of all ages!
The Scottish Seabird Centre, only ten minutes away from us, is also a fascinating and informative day out and is set against the ruggedly beautiful backdrop of the sea, making it the perfect spot for photography.
Amateur photographers won’t be the only ones drawn to the stunning selection of coastal walks available in the area. With endless stretches of sandy beaches lined with pretty seaside houses, children will have the freedom to run, play and explore, with the striking silhouette of the Bass Rock ever visible in the near distance.

East of Scotland Microlights presents a breathtaking, daredevil experience that allows participants to experience flying in one of their microlight hang-gliders! For those who prefer their feet to remain firmly planted on the ground, the nearby Glenkinchie Distillery offers fascinating tours, making for a brilliant day out with friends and family.
